[QUESTION] Problem with ethernet on X96 mini

Hi guys!
When I got new x96 mini, everything worked just fine and I had to update software. When I did that now I have problem with ethernet port on my x96 mini, it doesn't work when I connect it to router (cable is fine, tried on laptop - got connection to router and internet). Wifi works just fine.
So far I've tried with static IP, tried with upgrade to tanix tx3 software, atvexperience, same result -> ethernet not working. Now I bought Ugreen USB 3.0 RJ adapter, but when I connect it to x96 led on adapter blinks but it doesn't connect to router. I will be happy if someone could help me with any idea to get adapter to work because I think ethernet port is "fried"

Did you first connect box with Wifi before connecting with Ethernet??? Some weird Amlogic bug that happened to me, to correct it Turn of wifi in settings of TVbox , then unplug device power , then unplug router power , now plug in Ethernet cable between router and TVbox , now plug in router power , plug in TVbox power and see if Ethernet now works. That is how I fixed my Ethernet error.

In Developer Settings there is a setting to switch how USB devices are received and communicated, there is 5 different settings that can be selected. Default is set to "Charging." Try all the settings for USB type and sometimes one of the settings will get the USB adapter to start working.

Same issue here. It used to work with the original OS, which I think was Android 7.1. After upgrading to ATV 9, the ethernet stopped working - it might work only for the first minute or two when the cable is reconnected, and soon it stops working.
